Could she really be done with SAM??
After much
Indeed, it is true. (insert angels singing)
Yes, yes... she confirmed it ~ twice.
I was set to write a post filled with all the excitement
this worn-out, scatter-brained mother could muster.
but, alas, I am forced to keep it small and unassuming.
For SAM is not really gone ~
He's just been replaced . . .

. . . by someone they call ~ JEREMY.
And so . . . it begins !

When I was her age, boys and girls were like mortal enemies, then around 3rd or 4th grade, they became your best friends, that lasted well into my twenties and now at 44, they are mortal enemies again lol!
my son is in the 1st grade...he seems to get married each year of school...
Ooooh fickle. Good, it keeps them on their toes and god knows, the boys need it or they turn out smug an cocky. She's doing a service for all the girls in high school.
For me at that age it was Steve Matthews... sigh. Even though he turned out to be a rather frumpy and unattractive teenage boy in high school, I still respected the all-out stud he'd been in elementary school.

Oh my. Good for her for keeping her options open. lol
My daughter is almost 10 and still thinks boys are yucky. Is that possible, or is she just not wanting to tell me???
well by gesus...anything to get off of SAM for a bit! LOL
that is so funny..
Jonathan, in 4th grade, still thinks girls are gross. But he's always been socially delayed by 2 to 4 years.
My daughter started having boyfriends in kindergarten.
My teenager has friends and a few girlfriends...I'm hoping he'll continue to think the trouble he gets into with a girlfriend is not worth it until after college. (Bad grades because he's on an emotional roller coaster, getting in trouble for coming home late, etc....)
Oh geez, she's growing up too fast! ;)
sam - jeremy - .....
i have an Andrew - Yanni ....
Dear God, Thank you for giving me boys. Amen.
I am so happy Jeremy!! I bet Trinity will help Sam nurse his wounds and find some one new...you know, a better fit for him.
Options, options, options.
Oh, she is so funny! Poor little Sam ;)
I'm new here. Who is this Sam character? What does his father do? What are his grades like? Where does he live?
Jeremy now? Same questions.
I too am so glad I had boys.
Oh man...I don't look forward to these days!
Girls really are a lot more mature than boys. ;-) My boys are completely clueless.
Well I think it's for the best...she really needed to kick his ass to the curb anyway. Because any dude that kisses in such a way that it requires a helmet to survive, is gonzos in my book. :D
Queen Teen still thinks boys are yucky and weird. "Too noisy," she says. But I'm waiting for the day she decides one of them is "okay."
I just want to say again how much I love reading your blog! Such great writing!!!!
I have twin girls who are 4 and it will be interesting to see what happens with the opposite sex as they get older!
Thanks for sharing your post with me today. I really liked it and that name was funny. We have a fish too. Murphy..
Sigh. I kissed my first boy in 1st grade. The memories.
