Too much TV???

So, my darling daughter informed me tonight what she is getting me for my birthday, as long as I promise to forget by then and be super surprised!!!
I promised.

So, she began to share her
gift idea using her best "commercial voice"...

" New Tide Stain release. Because at TIDE they're always coming up
with new ways to keep your clothes looking new!"

I can't stop laughing.
What a goof.

I really think Tide needs to have a darling little girl as their spokesperson, don't you?

This is along the same lines as my 10 year old wanting a Slap Chop.

What a jokester! Too funny! Won't you just die if she really DOES wrap up some Tide for you? You better act surprised!

There you go again. Goof is a household word around here. WE use it as every imaginable part of speech. Trinity's goofiness is perfectly matched with her sharpness. If she were my age, I would try to wrangle her for friendship.

Trinity's Daddy Says

I am not much to fill in any comments - but she has changed her mind. Last night she told me that we are getting Skin So Soft Lotion so Mommy will have super soft skin and not have to wear make-up. She was super excited and it will be a big surprise. I guess i let the cat out of the bag

At least you are getting a gift. Adult boys are the worst.

I used to memorize commercials when I was her age, too. I loved commercials back then. Now, I'll do anything to avoid them!

That's a heck of a lot better than the "Shamwow" commercial that my son has memorized and wants to get for MY birthday. LOL.

I esp. love the part where she insisted on your promising to forget. Mine does the same thing to me too.

Sounds like my kids. They think we need to buy everything on the tv RIGHT NOW. They are dying for a Topsy Turvey Tomato thingy.
