I do recognize when those things happen but I try not to give them any weight. (I try.)

I'm not really suspicious, I don't think, although now that I think about it, I do knock on wood a whole heck of a lot!

I sure do.

When going out onto the baseball field, or coming back in after an inning, I never step on the white chalk line.

I always put my right sock on first, and the same with the right shoe.

I never say "good-bye" to anyone. It sounds too final.

Not good at all....I'd probably stay in the house the rest of the day just to be on the safe side :D

I probably do, but they are not conscious things. More like things that I catch myself doing, then feel embarrased because I know that I am doing them out of some superstition.

Main superstition: Poking your eye out with a stick makes you go blind.

:o)

Have a happy Thursday despite the black cat. There's always a black cat crossing my path ... since I own one who dashes about the house ruining everyone's luck on a regular basis.

No not really, just looks like a black cat:)

I think it's only bad luck if you run over them. :)

I don't think I have any superstitions...I'll have to think about it.

I hate crows! As soon as I see one or hear one I freack out and know that something bad is about to happen.

Haha. I am not superstitious at all; that being said, I do believe in ghosts and some paranormal stuff. hahahaha. Those two have nothing to do with each other. What a dope I am.

I love the picture.

Hmmm...I don't know which ones I really have. Oh. WAIT! I totally have to say "salt and pepper" if I am walking with someone, and we get split apart by something in our path.

hee hee...i don't have any superstitions. but the other night on the millionaire matchmaker this guy said to his date (also male) that breaking a wine glass is 7 years of bad sex...that's a first.

I always laugh about those superstitions...

None at all. I embrace the black cat crossings, the open umbrellas in the house, the ladders blocking my way.

Arizona mama, I say "bread and butter" for that one.
Michele-if that happened to me I would promptly trace an x with a circle around it on the dashboard then say the alphabet backwards, even though I KNOW it is rediculous! I actually don;t do those things so much anymore. As a kid, we used to hold our breath when we drove by cemetaries ... my dad would always slow the car to a stop until we turned blue :)
posty, losty, losty!

I am so superstitous, so that would have freaked me out!

And thanks for stopping by my blog...I try really hard to return the comment love, but I'm finding it hard to keep up, too.

Hope you know how much I adore you and your blog!

Not a bit superstitious, I walk under ladders but funny, I just got in that habit of knocking on wood years ago so maybe I'm superstitious and didn't even realize it Lol!

I believe in the "do not walk under a ladder". When I was very young, early elementary school, I was yelled at by my mom for walking under a ladder. I got the scolding of "don't you know it is bad luck?"

That day, I had the worst day and it ended with being spanked. I will NEVER walk under a ladder again!

How was your day? Did you find that it didn't matter that a black car crossed you?
